Kenneth Neill

Kenneth Neill is a Scottish artist whose precise attention to detail results in fantastical and detailed pencil drawings.

Kenneth is a Fife based, self-taught artist who takes his inspiration from Egyptian, Chinese and Cambodian temples, Lord of the Rings and fantasy computer games such as Final Fantasy.

He is a self-taught artist who rejected the more traditional teachings of art college, instead focussing on his beautifully intricate pencil drawings. Kenneth works predominantly in black and white, however has recently been experimenting with colour. 

His never plans out his drawings and doesn't use reference material, instead drawing straight from his imagination.

Kenneth works on more than one drawing at a time. He has a sketch pad for home and a sketch pad for when out visiting friends. His drawings take weeks, sometimes, months to complete.
